Ferromagnetic structure

Many of the tetrabromochromates(II), i.e. the Rb, NIL, NPhH3, pyH, NEt4 and NMe2H2 salts, are antiferromagnets. Since the chloro analogues of the first three are ferromagnets, structural comparisons would be informative. [Pg.763]

Manifestation of Triplet Superconductivity in Superconductor-Ferromagnet Structures... [Pg.1]

The current status of investigations of spin valve effects in structures composed of superconducting and ferromagnet layers is briefly reviewed. The main difficulties on the way of realization of SF spin valve devices are outlined. It is demonstrated that some of them can be effectively overcome by the use of trilayer femomagnetic - normal metal -ferromagnet structures as a weak link of Josephson junctions. [Pg.537]

Fig. 23. Schematic phase diagram of a system where by a variation of a parameter p the coefficient K (p) of the gradient energy (1/2)Jf (p)(v0)2 vanishes at a Lifshitz point Kl = 0, r, (pL) = Tl. For p < pl one has a ferromagnetic structure, while for p > pi where fC (p) < 0 one has a modulated structure, with a characteristic wavenumber q describing the modulation. For p -> p from above one has — 0 along the critical line... Fig. 23. Recent very detailed neutron powder-diffraction studies performed by Lawson et al. (1986) revealed very complex magnetic structures below 30 K which are schematically drawn in fig. 3.5. The ferromagnetic structure below 30 K consists of alternating layers of magnetic (with a moment of l)iB) denoted by 1 and non-magnetic uranium atoms denoted by 0 on which there is superimposed a non-colhnear antiferromagnetic structure which itself re-orders at 20 K (near the temperature of the second transition indicated by the bulk measurements). The ferromagnetic... [Pg.345]

Above Tc = 19 K, the magnetization curves of Strandburg (1962) and Feron (1970) reflect the standard spiral-> fan-> ferromagnetic structures produced by fields in the basal plane. At temperatures above 35 K, Koehler et al. (1967) detected a number of intermediate fan structures which are clearly evident in the magnetization data the h-axis isotherms at 30, 50.2 and 65.2 K show one, two and three critical fields, respectively (fig. 6.7). [Pg.425]
