Fenoxaprop methyl

Enantiomer separation of various compounds such as barbituric acids, benzoin, MTH-proline, glutethimide, a-methyl-oc-phenyl-succinimide, y-phenyl-y-butyrolac-tone, methyl-mandelate, l-(2-naphthyl)ethanol, mecoprop methyl, diclofop methyl and fenoxaprop methyl by pressure supported CEC on a permethyl-P-cyclodextrin modified stationary phase was described by Wistuba and Schurig [42-44]. Three different separation beds were used (i) permethyl-P-cyclodextrin was covalently attached via a thioether to silica (Chira-Dex-silica) [42], permethyl-P-cyclodextrin was linked to a dimethylpolysiloxane and thermally immobilized (ii) on silica (Chirasil-Dex-silica) [43] or (iii) on a silica monolith (Chirasil-Dex-monolith) [44], respectively. [Pg.340]

Halogenated aiyloxyphenoxypropionic acids are a new class of herbicides used for the selective removal of grass species. In commercial preparations, they are present as alkyl esters. In negative-ion ESI, haloxifop, fluazifop, and diclofop all show similar behaviour. The deprotonated molecule is the base peak in the spectrum. Weak formate and acetate adducts occur, and a fragment due to the loss of the propionate part [45]. The analysis of fluazifop and its butyl ester, fenoxaprop, quizalofop and haloxyfop and their ethyl esters, and diclofop and its methyl ester was reported. The free acids were analysed in negative-ion mode, and the esters in positive-ion mode. The esters showed sodium and potassium adducts next to the protonated molecules. The adduct formation was suppressed by the addition of 25 mmol/1 formic acid to the mobile phase. The influence of the orifice potential on the appearance of their mass spectra was studied [46-47]... [Pg.187]

As already pointed out, mefenpyr-diethyl is a versatile safener and it has been commercialized in combinations with several single or mixed herbicides, including fenoxaprop-P-ethyl (e.g.. Puma S ), iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium (e.g.. Hussar ) and mesosulfuron-methyl (Atlantis ). In general, the quantity of mefenpyr-diethyl required to provide adequate safening lies between 20 and 100 g-a.i. ha , and there is no set ratio between the rates of the herbicides and... [Pg.268]
