Falling Cartons

A struck by injury is one in which an employee has been contacted abruptly and forcefully by some object. The person that is struck can be moving or standing still. Struck by incidents or injuries could include an employee struck by a falling carton, or an employee struck by a steel band being cut on a pallet.

Paper may be made from mechanical or chemical pulp. The latter is preferred due to its purity, white colour (if bleached), strength, slow ageing, etc. Paper is usually below 300 hm in thickness above this caliper the material falls into a board or carton category.

Distortion printing also falls into this category.
