Expedited PMNs—Sustainable Futures

The Sustainable Futures program was announced in 2002 with the goal of encouraging companies to determine the risks presented by PMN substances and to develop low hazard chemicals.  

Qualified companies are referred to as graduates, and as of EPA s last update on its Web site five companies graduated.Over thirty companies attended training sessions in 2007. It is apparent from these statistics that the resource intensive nature of this program puts it outside the reach of most small companies and individuals.
