Exchange Trigger Event

The Exchangeable Notes will not be rated or listed although if it seems that the Exchange Trigger Event will not occur at least two months prior to the anniversary date, the investors have required that the issuer will have to obtain a listing of the Exchangeable Notes. 

In the first reported simplified dynemicin analogs a carbamate, which is not easily removable, was present (R = Me, Ph etc), thus requiring a hydride-promoted reduction as the triggering event. However, the employment of a moiety that is easily removed, possibly under physiological conditions, spread rapidly. This substructure is usually introduced at the end of the synthesis, by an exchange reaction on the carbamate best suited... 

Acute over-activation of NHE1 results in a marked elevation in intracellular sodium concentration with a subsequent increase in intracellular calcium, via the Na +/Ca++ exchanger. This in turn triggers a cascade of injurious events that can culminate in tissue dysfunction and ultimately apoptosis and necrosis. This is commonly seen in organs such as the heart, brain and kidneys as a consequence of ischemia-reperfusion. 

The SOS guanine-nucleotide exchange factor mediates GTP loading of Ras (Fig. 2), leading to activation of evolutionarily conserved effector proteins, such as the Raf ser-ine/threonine kinase, P13 K, and Ral-GDS. Raf activation triggers a cascade of phosphorylation events that lead to mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) activation. 

Basically, on 11 June 2008, a heat exchanger containing ammonia has ruptured due to an overpressure, triggered by a failure during the maintenance process. One worker was killed and seven others were injured during this event.
