Evil genius

This is formidable. Nevertheless, once again everything is clear. If we admit the special sense, then we can readily see how it is that the evil genius should have been so confident. He has certainly created his own illusions, though he has not himself been...

The American chemists employed X-ray and optical spectral techniques to study the minerals where they hoped to find element 61. Those well versed in the history of rare-earth elements could say that the path the Americans took was a troublesome one as spectral analysis not infrequently had acted as an evil genius of rare-earth studies despite all the benefits it had brought to them. But in the twenties the feet spectroscopy stood on were not so unsteady as a few decades earlier and the Moseley law could be used for predicting the X-ray spectra of any element. 

There are only two sure ways to get James s attention. One Is to get a job working for an evil genius bent on world domination. He ll sleep with you, but then he ll probably kill you. The other Is to get a Job as a spy working for a rival power that then forms a tense but cooperative relationship with MI6 to achieve a common goal. He ll sleep with you, but will probably kill your current husband and/or lover. Not as bad, but still a downside. 

I submit you ll automatically be one step ahead of the evil geniuses who ve gone before if only you treat your underlings with a bit more respect. Granted, flunkies can be exasperating at times, but try to remember they re as committed to evil as you are, and they only want to keep you happy. In what other field would you find someone willing to climb around on the outside of a moving plane just because you told them to Cut them a little slack.
