Everglades Agricultural Area and C-139 Basin

Agriculture is the dominant land use discharges into WCA-3A via structures basin is the subject of a water quality monitoring program and a regulatory Best Management Practices program 

Stormwater Treatment Areas (STAs) are built on agricultural lands as a buffer between the EAA and EPA. The STAs are constructed by SEWMD and USAGE 

Comprises Water Conservation Areas 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge and Everglades National Park 

The Refuge managed by USEWS, SEWMD, and USAGE saw grass wetland with many tree islands receives water primarily from STA-IW, STA-IE, and EAA regions
