Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Co-polymer EVA

EVA is thermoplastic and it is available in various forms depending on the level of co-polymer in the vinyl acetate. This affects the elasticity of the material and also the performance of adhesives. EVA is used for disposable gloves, hoses, tubes and anaesthesia face masks. Table 4.5 gives some typical adhesive shear strengths for this versatile material. [Pg.65]

All shear strengths are given as guidelines only and may vary considerably depending on grade of rubber, fillers, surface finish, etc. [Pg.65]
