Ethylene oxide portable tanks

Ethylene oxide is authorized for shipment in cylinders, special containers, portable tanks, and single-unit tank cars. 

The maximum filling densities authorized for ethylene oxide under present regulations are In cylinders, such that the container will not be liquid lull below 180°F (82°C) in lAl steel drums, such that the container will not be liquid full below 185°F (85°C) in tank cars complying with TC/DOT specification 105J such that the tank will not be liquid full at 105°F (41°C) in portable tanks complying with TC/DOT specification 51 such that the tank will not be liquid full at 115°F (46X). See 49 CFR 173.323 [8]. 

Ethylene oxide is authorized for shipment in portable tanks complying with TC/DOT-51 specifications and the special requirements in 49 CFR 173.124 or the Transporta-tion of Dangerous Goods Regulations of Transport Canada. [9] and [10]...
