Erythema multiforme minor

Rhinitis (sneezing, rhinorrhea) Erythema multiforme minor... [Pg.160]

Some regimens are designed for outpatient administration over much longer time periods and have been used, for example, with allopurinol dermal reactions. Such late-onset morbiliform reactions, sometimes overlapping with erythema multiforme minor, are difficult to evaluate because it is often unclear to what extent the patients were at risk for recurrent reaction. [Pg.827]

Erythema multiforme minor is comparatively benign. SJS or EMM involves the ocular tissues and produces the classic signs of a catarrhal pseudomembranous conjunctivitis. Erythema multiforme occurs more frequently in men than in women. [Pg.469]

In 87 patients with multiple myeloma in an open trial given thalidomide alone (n = 50) or thalidomide + dexamethasone (n = 37), there were minor to moderate skin eruptions in 23 patients taking thalidomide alone and in 16 of those taking thalidomide + dexamethasone (80). These included morbilliform, seborrheic, maculopapular, and non-specific dermatitis. Three patients taking thalidomide + dexamethasone had severe skin reactions (exfoliative erythroderma, erythema multiforme, and toxic epidermal necrolysis) that required hospitalization and withdrawal of thalidomide. [Pg.3349]
