Epoxy polymers amine

Low-molecular-weight model compounds such as phenylglycidyl or other mono-glycidyl ethers as well as primary, secondary and tertiary amines have been used for the study of the kinetics, thermodynamics and mechanism of curing. To reveal the kinetic features of network formation, results of studies of the real epoxy-amine systems have also been considered. Another problem under discussion is the effect of the kinetic peculiarities of formation of the epoxy-amine polymers on their structure and properties. [Pg.115]

Studies of epoxy-amine polymers, considered in the present article, offer a rather clear picture of structure-properties relationships for many properties of network polymers depending on their chemical composition in the glassy state near Tg and in the rubbery state. Mechanical properties in the rubbery state at a given chemical composition depend on network topology. [Pg.96]

In addition to the above mentioned, there have been reports of other polymers deposited using CVP, but extensive studies have not been done. Reports on 4-fluorostyrenes, ° polypyrrole and epoxy-amine polymers can be foundelsewhere, and are not discussed in detail in this paper. [Pg.248]

Experimental restoration of inserted relaxation operators and testing of their prediction ability were made for cross-linked epoxy amine polymers from diglycide ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA), which was solidillcated by stoichiometric amounts of 1-ami-nohexane (AH) and hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) in variation of their molar ratio from 0 to 2 with pitch 0.5. [Pg.52]

The determination of constants and testing of predictive capabihty of developed model were made for line of epoxy amine polymers based on diglycocide ether of bisphe-nol-A (DGEBA), which was solidificated by different molar ratios of 1-aminohexane (AH) and hexamethylenediamine (HMD A) x = n(AH)/n(HMDA) was changing from 0 to 2 (Table 1). [Pg.77]

Information about the quantity of cross-linked polymers strain properties in their one or another physical state with known assessment of mechanical tensions is nesessary, for choice of the optimal cross-linked polymer matrix and high strength Dberglass products. In the network of search solutions of this problem was developed and conDrmed by experiments with cross-linked epoxy amine polymers, a new mathematical account of nanofragment cross-linked polymers pliability [1]. A pur-... [Pg.169]

It is well known that the epoxy-amine polymers have decreased thermal stability in comparison with the epoxy-anhydride polymers [3-5]. The investigation of the effects of the salts of manganese, nickel, chromium, and cerium on the thermal (in nitrogen) and thermo-oxidative (in air) degradation of the bisphenol A-based epoxy resins cured with triethylene tetramine indicated that the compounds of manganese, chromium, and cerium do not affect the thermal degradation of the polymers, but diminish their thermo-oxidative stability and lessen the breakdown temperature by 80-100 C. The nickel salts affect neither the thermal nor thermo-oxidative degradation of these epoxy polymers [252]. [Pg.722]

Tatsuura et al. [157] described the preparation of an epoxy-amine polymer waveguide, containing an NLO-phore, by VDP. The structures of monomers and polymer are shown in Fig. 4. A transparent thin film was formed by controlling the temperature and substrate conditions. The films obtained have good optical quality, and a polymer waveguide was fabricated for the first time by dry processing. [Pg.361]
