One may envision extensions of the present approach to matter teleportation [Opatrny 2001] and quantum computation based on continuous variables [Braunstein 1998 (a) Lloyd 1998 Lloyd 1999], Such extensions may involve the coupling of entangled atomic ensembles in optical lattices by photons carrying quantum information. 

Eq. (32). Following the same techniques, we obtain almost the same results as for the Lambda system. The variance sum is plotted in Figs. 7 and 8, respectively. The best achievable state approaches V=0. The three-level Vee system is as efficient as the three-level Lambda system for the enhancement of continuous variable entanglement. Also, it is the two-channel interaction that is responsible for the enhancement.

As the craze microstructure is intrinsically discrete rather than continuous, the connection between the variables in the cohesive surface model and molecular characteristics, such as molecular weight, entanglement density or, in more general terms, molecular mobility, is expected to emerge from discrete analyses like the spring network model in [52,53] or from molecular dynamics as in [49,50]. Such a connection is currently under development between the critical craze thickness and the characteristics of the fibril structure, and similar developments are expected for the description of the craze kinetics on the basis of molecular dynamics calculations.
