When inquired about the need for more construction health and safety education at the university level, 85% of the surveyed practitioners reported Yes, 6% indicated No, 8 % answered Don t know, and 1 % did not answer the question. The large proportion of respondents that agreed that there is a need for more safety education emphasized the importance of incorporating construction safety in the engineering curriculum. [Pg.281]
