Engineering and buildings maintenance

This basically covers those activities that are required to manage and maintain the physical fabric and the supply of utilities to the building, namely. 

Whilst most of these activities can or will be carried out by outside contractors, there must be a member of staff, or even a small team, responsible for ensuring that the contractors meet their obligations of their contract with the company.
