A mass transfer coefficient determined from some subsurface soil column elution studies was inverse log-linearly related to the octanol-water partition coefficient (i.e., K0Vf) for closely related compounds, and polarity in the molecule caused an additional decline in the mass transfer coefficient.

I (DELIVER I) pivotal trial, undertaken in the United States, examined the nonpolymeric delivery of paclitaxel at the dose density of 3.0 jig/mm2 in a much larger patient population by using target vessel failure (TVF) as a primary endpoint, a clinical rather than angiographic measurement. This study showed similar disappointing clinical outcomes to those seen in the earlier ASPECT and ELUTES studies (65). 

Elution Studies. The elution profiles of As(V) and As(III) through sand columns were obtained using radioactive arsenic. 

Ground Water Geochemistry. Ground water from the lower aquifer in the lower Perch Lake Basin at the Chalk River Nuclear Laboratories, Figure 2, was used for field elution studies to provide water of different redox characteristics. Water from piezometer "0" in the transition area, and from KNEW in the discharge area was used as being representative of "neutral" and...

Temperature is another factor that can be varied during zonal elution studies. For instance, Eq. 3 can be used for a system with 1 1 binding... 

DNA strand breaks were monitored by nucleoid sedimentation (16). DMA induced DNA strand break levels were increased dramatically in the presence of SAB (Fig. 4). Although there was a dose dependent increase in 6TG induced DNA strand breaks, no further increase was observed in the presence of SAB. However, caution must be exercised in the interpretation of these results, since at least some 6TG induced DNA strand breaks have been shown to be protein crosslinked (18), and therefore alkaline elution studies are required to confirm these results. Note that although we can detect breaks using concentrations of DMS that yield 100% survival, doses of 6TG that reduce survival to less than 10% must be used. 

In order to explore the factors influencing the separation effect of spiral countercurrent extraction device, the experimental device is designed for the chromatographic elution studies, which is shown in Figure 1. For chromatographic spiral countercurrent extraction apparatus of the elution process, the separation process of equivalent as shown in Figure 2.
