Electricity supply metering energy meters

The electricity supply to the factory is usually obtained from the public supply authority, who will need to install metering in order to be able to assess the charges due in accordance with the agreed tariff. This metering will be the responsibility of the energy supplier but, in order to ensure that the rights of the customer are protected, the design of this instrumentation, and the accuracy limits... 

In another paper, the authors advocated a plasma-assisted decomposition of methane into hydrogen and carbon.13 It was estimated that 1-1.9 kWh of electrical energy is consumed per normal cubic meter of hydrogen produced. The authors stated that plasma production of hydrogen is free of C02 emissions. However, since most of the electric energy supply in the world comes from fossil fuels, electricity-driven hydrogen production processes such as plasma and electrochemical processes, are C02 producers. 

The electrical energy used for mixing and aeration in a reactor is determined as the quantity of power supplied over a period of time, expressed in kilowatts, [kW], or [J s ]. Power input measurements of impellers depend on the scale of operation (Brown, 1977) On a plant scale, accurate data are obtained for alternating current from Watt-meter readings... 

However, we can also use autonomous supply in urban areas (street furniture) in order to limit installation and operational costs. Such is the case for many parking meters or streetlamps, whose power is supplied by photovoltaic cells and batteries, preventing the need to dig trenches to lay electrical cables and then resurface the sidewalks. This autonomous power supply also enables us to avoid having to hire an energy meter, the cost of which may be greater than the energy consumed.
