Electrical grounding procedures

We began to look at safe electrical isolation procedures in Chapter 1 and then discussed this topic further in Chapter 8, together with safe manual handling techniques and safe procedures for working above ground. [Pg.285]

Extraction Procedure from Hot Chilli. The sample was finely ground using an electric blender. Two grams were shaken for 20 min with 20 mb of ethanol (96%) and stirred in an ultrasonic bath for 10 min. The extraction was repeated three times, each time recovering the liquid phase after filtration on sodium sulfate anhydrous. The extract, collected in a sealed flask, was concentrated under vacuum in a rotary evaporator to about 10 mb, transferred into a 25 mb volumetric flask, and diluted to volume with ethanol (96%). [Pg.86]
