Dredging equipment and working method see

The selected equipment and working method should be such that all project milestones can be met and that the project will be completed in time taking into specific working conditions (see Section 4.1). Some examples and subjects within this context are presented below  

Contractor shall provide Method Statements vdiich in detail describe the proposed techniques for carrying out the dredging and reclamation Works. Environmental constraints may dictate that from time to time, dredging plant may not be permitted to operate in an overflow mode (if apphcable). During such times the Contractor shall be deemed to have made allowances to operate in a non-overflow mode . 

The Contractor shall submit a program for the Works within the time frame and in the form stated in the Appendix to the Contract. The Contractor shall submit revised programs to the Engineer whenever reasonably required (see clause 7.2 FIDIC, first edition 2006). 

Contractor shall provide adequate plant for the appropriate and timely execution of the Works required under the Contract. The Contractor has sole responsibility to assess necessary plant and equipment to dredge, transport and place all specified material. The Contractor shall be deemed to have made due allowance for site constraints, including but not limited to the following  

Generally, dredging vessels are working 24 h/day and 7 days/week. Any limitations towards working hours or seasonal restrictions should be stated in the Specifications.
