DORIS storage ring

Extensive test have been carried out with a vidicon X-ray detector, based on a Westinghouse 80 mm SIT (TEM 432/R) at the DORIS-storage ring in Hamburg... [Pg.88]

X-ray absorption spectroscopic measurements were carried out at the storage ring DORIS III (HASYLAB DESY, Hamburg, Germany) at the EXAFS II beam line, which was equipped with a Si (111) double-crystal monochromator. All spectra were recorded at room temperature in a step-scanning mode. For data analyses the program WinXAS [17] was used. [Pg.342]

Since the two vector components have a well defined phase relation with respect to each other the light is also elliptically polarized. Figure 12 shows the intensities of the two polarized beams, the degree of linear polarization, and the degree of circular polarization for the storage ring DORIS for three different wave length. [Pg.13]

In this section we will describe two data aquisition systems which are actually used at the storage ring DORIS for experiments on polymers. A detailed description of different data aquisition systems can be found in the article by Hendrix (this Volume). [Pg.31]

Fig. 6. The instrument XI5 of EMBL at the storage ring DORIS, DESY Hamburg. The double monochromator system extends 24 to 28 m from the source. The first monochromator crystal (1) deflects the beam to the second crystal which can move between the positibns marked by (2) and (2 ). The sample can be put at different distances from the detector (D)... Fig. 6. The instrument XI5 of EMBL at the storage ring DORIS, DESY Hamburg. For this reason, at several S.R. facilities, instruments have been designed which can be used excellently for X-ray scattering experiments with polymers. The most important beamlines exist at the storage ring DORIS at DESY in Hamburg (FRG), at the SRS in Daresbury (GB), at the SSRL in Stanford (USA), at the CHESS in Cornell (USA), at the NSLS in Brookhaven (USA), at L.U.R.E. in Orsay (F), and at the Photon Factory in Tsukuba (JPN). [Pg.117]

The SAXS experiments were performed at the beamUne A2 of the DORIS 111 storage ring at the Synchrotron radiation facility HASYLAB/DESY (Hamburg, Germany). The samples were filled in glass mark tubes of 1 mm diameter. The X-ray beam wavelength, X, was 1.5 A. The scattered intensity was recorded using a one-dimensional (ID) detector, which area was divided into 1024 pixels. The ID SAXS data were calibrated by a rat-tail tendon (RTT) standard. [Pg.12]
