DINITRO-o-CRESOL (534-52-1) Combustible solid (flash point unknown). Dust and powder form explosive mixtures with air. Thermally unstable elevated temperatures can cause explosion. May be moistened with up to 10% water to reduce the risk of explosion, or in paste form with 55—60% water. Incompatible with heat, strong oxidizers, amines, cresols, hydrocarbons, phenols. Stable at low pH, but decomposes upon UV radiation in alkaline solutions.
