3 Different Methods used to Monitor the Progress of Some Reactions 

Not all reactions involve such obvious and easily followed changes as those used in the above examples. The method used depends on the type of reaction that is occurring. Here are some other methods that might be used  

You will notice that there is a reduction in the number of moles of gas present - so if the volume of the reacting vessel is kept the same there will be a drop in pressure.
