Dielectric properties halogen polymers

Not all halogenated polymers are polar, nor can they be included in this subgroup of thermoplastic polymers (e.g., see the discussion of PTFE in Section 6.6.1). Interesting results on the dielectric properties of fluoropolymers have been reported by Avakian et al. (1997).
