Dialogue encouragement

Consider supplementing these relatively static media with in-person presentations—especially as you undertake facility-specific communications. In some companies, it may be feasible to develop a core presentation that a number of PSM advocates— the PSM team, for example—can use to provide an overview and introduction to the PSM system. This helps bring your company s PSM system out of the ivory tower (or research lab) and into the field in addition, it helps encourage dialogue with participants— present and future. 

The new NACE standard indeed encourages dialogue between user and material suppliers. This is even stressed within the standard per Part 1, paragraph 5 - General principles ... 

After the dialogue begins, ask more specific questions. For example, if the person has a spinal cord injury and needs regular, intermittent catheterization to prevent potentially life-threatening complications (e.g., autonomic dysreflexia), the person should be encouraged to think about what equipment he or she should take if evacuation is necessary and who will provide assistance if needed. 

The Commission encourages a thorough and critical reading of its report and looks forward to a very healthy, lively, and productive dialogue within the Academy. 

The fundamental task of a CER is to provide an environmental bill of health of a company, in the same way that the annual report provides a financial bill of health. It covers the provision of environmental information by management for the use of multiple stakeholder groups on the environmental status and performance of the company. As well as performing this communication role on environmental activities, it should encourage dialogue between the numerous and often diverse stakeholders. 

While both the R05 and the Norinder-Haeberlein rules appear to be simple, they were achieved after significant QSAR efforts. They are, however, encouraging in the sense that such simple rules can prove extremely useful for the medicinal chemistry practitioners involved in drug discovery and that they may provide a good starting point for the dialogue between experimentalists and theorists. 

If we abuse the freedom inherent in the rule, we may well live to regret it. Throughout the preamble, there are a number of references to the need for further legislation. Whilst the FDA has no intention of doing so at present, it will not hesitate to do so in the future if it feels this is necessary to allow it to do its job. We wish to avoid this at all costs. If we comply responsibly (and dialogue with the FDA is also encouraged in the preamble), then I believe a win-win situation will evolve. 

MAP is charged with developing formalised networks to encourage constmctive dialogue and cormnunication between farmers using different production methods, and to provide mediation where necessary.
