Developing agents paper developers

Lesser amounts of sodium thiocyanate are used in color toning photographic paper, as a stabilizer in rapid film development, and as a sensitizing agent in color negative-film emulsions. It is also used as a brightener in copper electroplating. 

During the next 15 years the urea resins were also developed for use as adhesives, as textile finishing agents and in the production of surface coatings and wet-strength paper. Since World War II the development of chipboard has resulted in a large new outlet for urea-based resins which have also found other uses, such as in firelighters and foams. 

Natural vaporization agents, where the active ingredient is formulated on paper or resin, and where it is vaporized without heating or use of power, are easy to use, so there is particular high potential for associated new developments in the field of mosquito control. Insecticides that can be used in formulations for this purpose must possess the characteristics of room temperature vapor action, high level activity, and a high degree of safety for mammals. Metofluthrin meets all of these requirements.
