Detecting the Signal Fourier Transform NMR Spectrometers

Let us now consider how the signal from nuclei that are in resonance is detected by NMR spectrometers, and how it is converted to an NMR spectrum. 

The radio frequency excitation pulse and resulting NMR signals are sent through cables between the probe coils in the magnet and the computer.
