In recent years, combinatiort chemotherapy, in which doxorubicin or daunorubicin are combined with other antineoplastic drugs, has been used with increasing frequency. One example of a combination therapy regimen would include treatment of breast carcinoma with doxorubicin (60 mg/m ), cyclophosphamide (600 ing/m ), and 5-(iuorouraciI (600 mg/m ) by intravenous delivery on day 1, and 5-fluorouracil (600 mg/mO on day 8, with treatment repeated every 28 days for four courses (113).
