Certain combinations of cjdotoxic drugs (cyclophosphamide, vincristine, and prednisone, with and without procarbazine) reduced plasma digoxin concentrations by about 50% during treatment with beta-acetyldigoxin, perhaps through impaired absorption of beta-acetyldigoxin (202) digitoxin was not affected (203).

A study in 13 patients with various forms of neoplastic disease showed that radiation therapy and/or various high-dose cytotoxic regimens (including carmustine, cyclophosphamide, melphalan, cytarabine and methotrexate) reduced the absorption of digoxin from tablets Lanoxin) by almost 46%, but the reduction was not significant (15%) when the digoxin was given as capsules Lanoxicaps) ...
