CVT

Several VTST techniques exist. Canonical variational theory (CVT), improved canonical variational theory (ICVT), and microcanonical variational theory (pVT) are the most frequently used. The microcanonical theory tends to be the most accurate, and canonical theory the least accurate. All these techniques tend to lose accuracy at higher temperatures. At higher temperatures, excited states, which are more difficult to compute accurately, play an increasingly important role, as do trajectories far from the transition structure. For very small molecules, errors at room temperature are often less than 10%. At high temperatures, computed reaction rates could be in error by an order of magnitude.

For DTB films obtained by CVT inhomogenous distribution of out-of-framework cations and admixture capture ai e obseiwed. The aim of the present work is to use imaging X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (i-XPS) for chemical state mapping which enable future optimization of the CVT technology. The P, O and Hg content in the DTB may be varied during the CVT. 

The size and therefore the cost of a conventionally wound voltage transformer will be almost proportional to the system voltage for which it is wound. As a cost consideration, therefore, a more economical alternative is found in a Capacitor Voltage Transformer (CVT) (Figure 15.6(a)). 

A CVT consists of a capacitor divider unit in which a primary capacitor C and a secondary capacitor C2 are connected in parallel between the line and the ground (Figure 15.6(b)). A tapping at point A is provided at an intermediate voltage Vf, usually around 12 to 24 kV,...

To drain out the excessive voltages transferred to the communication network through the CVT, caused by lightning, switching or a fault. 

Instrument transformers (CTs, class PS, CT, VTs and CVTs etc.) form important components of a switchgear assembly for measurement and protection. They are covered for their specifications, selection and application.

Figure 9.5 shows a main servo controlled by two thermostatic pilots sensing load temperature (type CVT) and a solenoid valve (type EMV). Any of these pilots may be used separately with the servo valve. 

Activation of dopamine 1 receptors (fenoldopam) or inhibition of A1 adenosine receptors (CVT 124, KW-3902) are additional approaches that cause increased NaCl excretion at least in part by inhibition of proximal reabsoiption.
