Custom function statistical

This function could be located in the Statistical category, rather than in the User Defined category. See "Assigning a Custom Function to a Function Category" later in this chapter. 

Data generated with the EOS are elaborated by Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) software, a written-in-house software package based on MATLAB [22]. The EDA software includes the usual (univariate or multivariate) descriptive statistics functions among which Principal Component Analysis (PCA) [23], with the additional utilities for easy data manipulation (e.g. data sub sampling, data set fusion) and plots customization. 

Most of the 50 respondents in the sample were affiliated to departments which are involved with products and customers. Figure 10 illustrates the affiliation of employees to their functional departments. For further analyses, human resources, finance, and operations will be aggregated to one group other in order to homogenize group sizes and make them comparable in statistical tests. 1 expect employees from these departments to be similar with respect to their use intensity and other relevant variables, as all three departments can be regarded to be equally remote frem contact with users and products. 

However, for workable measures of macroscopic observables, one employs the partition fimction of Eq. (1.91) to compute the canonical associated partition function according with the custom statistical rule assuming the TV-periodic cells in the network... 

Let us test the h5 othesis that Ll = Rl and L2 = R2. This will perform the same test as the customized plot did, but does not require us to visually inspect the data. The h5q)othesis testing is done using the MATLAB function kstest2 from the Statistics Toolbox.
