The characteristics of s/p-orbital chemistry are associated, above all, with the atoms H, C, N, and O that dominate organic and biochemical phenomena. Hence, the discussion of bonding in s/p-block elements inevitably carries a bias toward organic chemistry, and toward the issues and controversies that continue to animate this most mature and advanced area of chemistry. Indeed, organic chemistry may be considered the cradle of covalency, where many principles of chemical bonding were first grasped and exploited.

Many more structure determinations of CaM-binding peptides have been carried out. For instance, the NMR structure determined by Ikura and co-workers for a CaM/CaMKK (from rat) complex (PDB ICKK) shows a calmodulin collapsed structure similar to those of CaM/smMLCK, CaM/ skMLCK, and CaM/CaMKIIa with the rCaMKK peptide cradled between calmodulin s C- and N-terminal domains. However, two features are different for CaM/rCaMKK. The first is that the peptide is bound in an inverted position compared to the others—that is, the N-terminal end of the rCaMKK peptide binds to CaM s N-terminal end and the C-terminal end binds to the C-terminal end rather than vice versa. The term includes receptacles for gases as defined in this section as well as articles which, because of their size, mass, or configuration may be carried unpackaged or carried in cradles, crates, or handling devices. The term does not apply to goods which are carried in bulk or to substances carried in tanks. 

To be of any praetieal use, an object made from a polymeric material must be able to retain its shape when subjected to even small tensions or compressions over long pmods of time. This dimensional stabiUty is an important consideration in choosing a polymer for use in the manufacture of an item. No one wants a plastic telephone reedver that sags after sitting in its cradle for several weeks, or a car tire that develops a flat spot if parked in one position for too long, or clothes made from synthetic fibers that become baggy and deformed after short periods of wear. Creep tests provide a measure of this tendency to deform and are relatively easy to carry out. 

Before 90 days is up hazardous waste is picked up for disposal. This will require a manifest. A manifest is the tracking document behind the entire RCRA cradle-to-grave concept. It is the official DOT shipping document that tracks a waste shipment from the time it is loaded on the transporter s vehicle until it is disposed (incinerated, fuel blended, landfilled, recycled, etc.). The manifest carries with it legal liability for the person who signs the document from the generating facility. 

The container 30 is mounted on the car 31 by means of a cradle 112 and as shown in Fig. 7 three such containers are thus carried on each car 31. Car 31 is mounted on wheeled trucks 113 that operate on rails 114 and a cable 115 is attached to one end of the car for pulling the car in one direction through tunnel 104. Cable 114 is attached to the op site end of the car for pulling the car in the opposite direction through tunnel 104. Each container 30 is provided with thick lead walls, not shown, adapted to absorb gamma radiations, and lead cover 117 fits in an opening, not shown, in the top of each container. A shelf 118 is mounted on one of the walls 105 on which are placed the covers 117 for the containers 30. A conventional overhead crane is diagrammatically shown at 119 and is mounted on a movable track 120. The movable track 120 is provided with wheels 121 at each end these in turn are mounted on fixed tracks 122.
