Crack growth/propagation

It can relate crack-growth propagation rate to the anisotropy introduced at different strain levels. 

CF phenomena are diverse and specific to the environment and particular application at hand however, the variables that influence CF crack growth propagation are stress intensity, frequency of loading, stress ratio, alloy composition and microstructure (hence electrochemical potential), and the environment composition (and temperature). 

Elastic energy release due to subcritical crack growth is one recognized source of structure-related AE within its acknowledged lunitations, AEBIL provides a viable means of early on-line deteetion and localization of stable crack propagation.
