Corticosteroids hematologic effects

Corticosteroids have been useful in the treatment of acute leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other hematologic malignancies as well as in advanced breast cancer. In addition, they are effective as supportive therapy in the management of cancer-related hypercalcemia.
