The corrosion tables on the following pages are arranged alphabetically according to the corrodent. The chemicals listed are in the pure state or in a saturated solution unless otherwise indicated. Compatibility is shown to the maximum allowable temperature for which data is available. Incompatibility is indicated by an x. A blank space indicates that data is not available. 

Because many of the polymers may be compounded, the manufacturer should be checked to see that the material being furnished is satisfactory for the service. For example, there are three different formulations of polyamides.
