Correlations of Maples

Maples (1993) derived similar correlations based on conunercial and pilot plants at typical operating conditions. The database corresponds to straight-run residues with API gravity and CCR content ranging from 1.4 and 2.5 and 2.84 and 25.5 wt%, respectively. Linear plots to determine product yields in weight percent were reported, from which the following correlations were obtained. A correlation for naphtha yield can be developed from the plot however, Maples (1993) suggested its calculation by difference  [Pg.158]

Similar plots than those for product yields were reported for sulfur distribution and API gravity of the products, from which the following lineal correlations were derived  [Pg.159]

Maples (1993) also reported another set of correlations for flexi-coking  [Pg.159]
