Coordinate sequential

This control activity includes process control and unit management. Process control includes those loops and devices that perform sequential control, regulatory control, and discrete control. Unit management is responsible for coordinating the activities associated with the batch units (e.g., allocating resources within the unit, ensuring that batch sequences proceed in the proper order, etc.). [Pg.111]

Tor the purpose of this brief account we will provide only a notional definition of optical aberrations. In an optical system, the angular coordinates of incident rays are transformed according to sequential applications of Descarte s law from one optical surface to the next. Aberrations are essentially the non-linear terms of the transformation, the angular coordinates of emerging rays not being strictly proportional to those of the incident ones -thereby generating distorted and/or blurred images. [Pg.22]

Figure 4.29. Back-calculated results for files VALIDX.dat. The data are presented sequentially from left to right. The ordinate is in % of the nominal concentration. Numbers X = 1,2, and 3 indicate the data file. Each bracket indicates a day s worth of results (sorted by concentration). The log/log format tends to produce positive deviations at low concentrations, while the lin/lin format does the opposite, to the point of suggesting negative concentrations The reason is that the low concentration values are tightly clustered at the left end of the lin/lin depiction whereas the values are evenly spread in the log/log depiction, with commensurate effects on the position of Xmean, the sum Sxx< and the influence each coordinate has on the slope. The calibration design was optimized for the log/log format. Figure 4.29. Back-calculated results for files VALIDX.dat. The data are presented sequentially from left to right. In the anaerobic photoheteio iophRhodobacter(Rhodopseudomonas) spheroides, a molybdenum enzyme in which the metal is coordinated by two equivalents of a pyranopterin cofactor is involved in sequential oxidations and reductions involving Mo(VI), Mo(V), and Mo(IV) (Cobb et al. 2005). [Pg.187]
