Educational programmes, reports about scientific activity of the centre, the books, issued by SEC, information about future events in the field of green chemistry in Russia and worldwide, as well as reports on completed events are presented on the website. The website is presented in Russian, which is very important, because in contrast to the abundance of web materials in foreign languages, the Russian web content on the topic is too scanty. [Pg.245]

One of the major problems of GCE in Russia is the absence of textbooks in Russian. Even the book by P. Anastas and J. Warner, Green Chemistry Theory and Practice, has so far not been translated into Russian. During the creation of educational programmes in the field of green chemistry for Master s and Bachelor s students the absence of available literature was the main obstacle for approval of the programme by authorities. [Pg.245]

SEC SGC published the small collection of articles about their activity that includes material about the fundamentals of green chemistry the description of the Twelve Principles, some examples of research works in this field and industrial applications. Surely that is not enough and the writing of the textbook is an urgent need for Russia. [Pg.245]
