Contribution to the Economy

In 1990, 74% of all cocoa produced was exported.21 This figure does not include semi-processed cocoa products, including cocoa paste, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, and chocolate. However, it demonstrates that cocoa is not a crop of domestic consumption within the major producing nations. Similarly to coffee, cocoa contributes to the economy of several large producing nations. 

All of these implementations have enormous potential for improving health and contributing to the economy of the nation. 

Process control at high cell density is much more critical with regard to oxygen (see above) and nutrient supply as compared with standard batch and continuous cultures. The more intense use of medium contributes to the economy of the process, but leaves a deficit in nutritional buffer capacity. This causes rapid starvation of cells after relatively small alterations in specific nutrient supply. Therefore, cell number estimation, liquid flow/level control and the measurement of specific medium components and osmotic pressure will be dealt with here. 

After a century s development in Europe and the USA, chemical engineering has matured to become a well-rounded discipline. It has made remarkable contributions to the economy especially in fostering the growth of the petrochemical and downstream industries as reviewed by Professor Perkins in Chapter 2. However, the need to re-examine and improve chemical engineering education is now commonly accepted. 

With regard to employment, taking into accoimt the whole sector, that is to say production, constmction of machines dedicated to processing and the processing industry, the sector employed 1.6 million people, which places this industry at the top of those who contribute to the economy of Eitrope [PLA 10]. For example, the chemical industry in 2011 generated only 1.19 million jobs in the Eitropean Union [CEF]. 

Plastics (URPs and RPs) are one of the most important business sectors providing significant contributions to the economy and standard of living across all sectors worldwide. Technically Figure 10.6 highlights how just one factor of RPs, namely modulus of elasticity tends to have constant weight as the modulus increase. 

Recovery of the pulping chemicals has been increased significantly and substantially contributes to the economy of pulp manufacture. 

Small ports, which, regardless of their size, contribute to the economy of the country...
