In other respects, the nature of these types of relationships, and therefore the mentor characteristics, can be quite variable. For example, mentoring relationships could follow a reverse mentoring model, in which the mentor is potentially (much) younger but certainly more junior than the mentee. Many senior mentees view reverse mentoring as a unique opportunity and are fully conscious of the fact that having a yoimger mentor is not a humiliation but a benefit. 

Imagine an automobile thatmns in silence and without polluting emissions. Such an automobile, long a dream of the environmentally conscious, has recently become a reality. The power source is a fuel cell, an electrochemical cell that uses a combustion reaction to produce electricity. Maintenance of these frequencies relies on the degree of depolarisation of the thalamic neurons (Jahnsen and Elinas 1985) and this, in turn, depends on the nature and intensity of their afferent inputs. The NspRTN and other thalamic nuclei receive reciprocal inputs from the cortex and it is possible that it is the ensuing oscillations in neuronal activity in this circuit between the cortex and thalamus that give rise to the sleep spindle waves in stages 2-4. In fact, it has been suggested that the stronger and clearer these oscillations become, the more likely it is that there will be loss of consciousness. 

Antioxidants are not important only to the health conscious food manufacturers also rely on these chemicals to maintain the shelf life of their products. Synthetic antioxidants such as butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene, propyl gallate and tert-butyl hydroquinone were widely used in food processing to control oxidation and maintain food quality. However, as these synthetic antioxidants are suspected to be carcinogenic they now have restricted use in food (Madahavi and Salunkhe, 1995). Therefore, natural antioxidant sources, especially of plant origin, are of great interest to the food industry.
