As mentioned, the procedure has the advantage that the time variable T is part of the solution expression, so that if solutions at only a few time values, or even just one such T, are sought, the method might be competitive with the more usual time-marching schemes. In the Cyber system, all CDFG nodes have their Condition Vectors. The CV shows the execution condition of the CDFG node. The CV will be used in all High Level Synthesis processes scheduling, data path allocation and control synthesis. For example, the Cyber system schedules CV values of nodes, instead of the node itself, as described in the following section. 

The conditions of operation execution can be expressed in Boolean expression or in some other expressions. Here, a new expression suitable for exploiting mutual exclusiveness of conditions is introduced. It is a basic Condition Vector.

Scheduling CVLS (Condition Vector List Scheduling)... 

By applying the Condition Vector concept into a conventional scheduling algorithm which are mainly for exploiting potential parallelism, the algorithm becomes to be able to exploit both alternation and parallelism concurrently and to find out different control sequence for each path. The scheduler has only to assign CVs of nodes instead of the nodes themselves. This is because the CVs contain imformation regarding control structure (nested conditional branches) in behavioral description. 

In Condition Vector List Scheduling (CVLS), the way to count the number of necessary FUs in each control step are modified according to CVs. The CVLS also consider different scheduling for each path, and this will be described in Section 6 for explanation convenience.
