Melt polycondensation at 275°C in an extruder was tested by extruding an aramid compound, dry blended with a catalyst solution and PTMG. The extrudate was further treated in a reactor at 250°C, which yielded polymers with an inherent viscosity ranging from 0.7 to 1.1 dL/g [43]. [Pg.154]
