At present, amphiphilic mixtures containing surfactants of the type CiEj (alkylpo-lyglycol ether) are most completely characterized. Their phase behavior has been extensively studied by Kahlweit, Olsson, Strey, and coworkers, and detailed knowledge of the temperature- and composition-dependent morphology of such amphiphilic mixtures is available [2,11,22,23,31,53,54,56-58].
