Markers command

Command markers are supported only for RealMedia (. rm) files and Windows Media (. wmv and. wma) files. Some commands are particular only to the Windows Media format and begin with a WM- prefix. Some commands only make sense for video presentations. The following table lists the commands, what they do, and what parameters are acceptable. Some of these commands interact with the Web browser and the HTML document that contains the media file. While the Command marker itself is fairly simple, the interactions can be quite sophisticated and may require some pretty serious scripting (JavaScript). [Pg.266]

Most WYSIWYG word processors have a command (e.g. Show/Hide in Microsoft Word) which reveals the non-printing characters, including paragraph and space markers. This can be useful when editing text, as spacing may alter in apparently mysterious ways if the precise position of the cursor vis-d-vis these markers is not taken into account. [Pg.312]

On the last command line, note that the three periods. . . (an dlipris) represents a continuation marker in MATLAB. The ellipsis means there is more to ibUow on this command line. Note the use of fprintf and disp commands. The final result for Example 14.2 (Revisited) is shown in Figure 15.5. [Pg.429]

To develop a multimodal system is necessary to have interaction modalities and mechanisms for modalities fusion. An interaction modality can be defined as the composition of a language plus a device. For instance and physical space + webcam>. Mechanisms for modalitites fusion inform the manner these modalities will be combined. For instance some fusion mechanisms such as redundancy, equivalence, complementary and assignment are described in [2]. In our implementation the two interaction modalities are complementary i.e. the user should blow in the microphone and move the marker in front of the webcam to inform the multimodal command erase + position to the 3D medical sculptor (see Figure 1). However the gesture modality alone is capable to produce the movement of the selected virtual hand metaphor in the medical viewer. [Pg.638]
