Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea

Nosocomial Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea (CDAD) is almost always associated with antimicrobial use therefore, we should avoid unnecessary and inappropriate antibiotic therapy. Almost all antibiotics except aminoglycosides have been associated with CDAD.
