The Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences, directly under the NEPA, is a national research and technical center for environmental protection. [Pg.431]

Currently, the program of environmental protection is a national policy, and occupational safety aspects are of significant importance. The Chinese Government pays great attention to these affairs. Strategic objectives are important targets and aims to strengthen and to improve the quality of occupational and environmental medicine. [Pg.441]

As microwave sample preparation has evolved, standard microwave procedures have been developed and approved by numerous standard methods organizations. Table 1 summarizes the different methods approved for either microwave drying or microwave acid dissolution by the Association of Official Analytical Chemistry (AOAC), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US-EPA), Standard Method, and Erench and Chinese national methods. [Pg.4284]
