Chemist-Analyst

The largest storehouse of personal origin documents of outstanding scientists of Ukraine (about 350 funds, including more than 40 - scientists-chemists) is the Archivist Institute of National librar y of Ukraine. Among them the ar chival fund of academician of Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Anatoly Kirillovich Babko, the honored worker of a science, professor, founder of the Kyiv school of chemists-analysts. He is the author of 420 scientific works and several monographs and textbooks. 

Soils develop by the action of the soil forming factors on soil parent materials including material transported by different agents. The result of these soil forming factors is the formation of soil horizons, different colors, and peds. Each of these factors has a pronounced effect on a soil s chemistry. Knowledge of the soil type and profile description can provide the soil chemist, analyst, or researcher with valuable information about the characteristics of soil relevant to the development of extraction, analytical, and instrumental analytical procedures. It also is the place to start when investigating the failure of a procedure. 

Effective collaboration among the core four PA disciplines analytical, chemometrics, process engineering and control automation along with other disciplines (e.g., pharmacist, chemist, analyst, product formulators, etc.) is imperative to realize effective PAT solutions that are consistent with the intended lean manufacturing or QbD objectives.

Baker Chemical Company, publishers of this house organ. Original experimental data are also published in the Technical Section of R.B.H. Dispersions a publication of Interchemical Corporation.
