Cesium electrical resistivity

Electrical resistivity measurement is the major technique used to study reactions in solution, so it is relevant to note that the resistivity of any liquid alkali metal mixture is greater than that of either of the separate metals. The extent of this excess resistivity varies remarkably with difference in atomic size of the components the excess for sodium-lithium mixtures is very small indeed, whereas that for sodium-cesium mixtures is 10 times the resistivity of sodium alone. [Pg.187]

Double Salt of Cesium Dichromate and Cesium Decahydrodecaborate. USP 3256056 of June 14, 1966 of R.K. Armstrong (to DuPont Co) is described in CA 65, 8660(1966) as follows A B-contg compd is prepd which is suited for use in delay-producing compns, which ignite reliably and uniformly and has excellent resistance to impact and to static eLectricity. The compd has the formula... [Pg.434]
