Clinical tabletop centrifuge (low speed)—At least one required. 

Positive Pumps. Positive pumps employed by the food industry have a rotating cavity between two lobes, two gears that rotate in opposite directions, or a crescent or stationary cavity and a rotor. Rotary positive pumps operate at relatively low speed. Fluid enters the cavity by gravity flow or from a centrifugal pump. The positive pump also may use a reciprocating cavity, and may be a plunger or piston pump. These pumps are not truly positive with respect to displacement, but are used for metering product flow. 

Variable-speed basket centrifuges rotate on a vertical axis. The cyhndrical perforated basket, connected at one end to a bowl head or hub, is driven from below or suspended from above by a driveshaft. It is capped at the other end with a weir ring. The hub may be a solid piece or with an annular opening. If the hub is a sohd piece, the shiny is introduced into the basket at low speed despite the fact that the earths gravity may influence the annular pool. If the concentration profile can be determined the moduli can be evaluated. In principle there is no reason why this should be a non-linear measurement, it depends upon the magnitude of the gravitational Peclet number. Buscall35 suggested that a low speed centrifuge could be used to apply different acceleration gradients to the dispersion.
