Sulfur dyes are used mainly for dyeing textile cellulosic materials or blends of cellulosic fibers (qv) with synthetic fibers such as acrylic fibers, polyamides (nylons), and polyesters. They are also used for silk (qv) and paper (qv) in limited quantities for specific applications. Solubilized sulfur dyes are used on certain types of leathers (qv). 

Cellulosic-Acryiic Fibers. Commonly this blend is used in knilgoods. woven fabrics for slacks, drapery, and upholstery fabrics. Since anionic direct dyes are used for the cellulosic fiber and cationic dyes for die acrylics, a one-bath dyeing process is only suitable for light lo medium shades. Auxiliaries arc needed to prevent precipitation of any dye complexes. 

Use Levei 0.5-10% owg (scouring) 0.5-10% owg (one-bath scouring/dyeing of polyester or acrylic fibers and acryllc/cellulosic blends) 0.5-1.0 g/l (wetting for exhaust and continuous systems) 0.5-2.0 g/l (rewettIng)... 

PAC-CEL Blends are used for household textiles and imitation fur. In these plush and fur materials, the pile consists of PAC fibers while the back is made of cellulose. Furthermore, they are used for leisure wear, sport stockings, drapery, and table linen. The percentage of PAC in the mixtures varies widely.
