In order to follow the same line of the category approach, the content of Lead and BFRs is estimated. Furthermore, the categories approach for the global SFA in China does not define the predicted environmental whereas in the single appliances one, some assumptions have been had to be done in order to provide an emission value into these environmental compartments. In addition, as aforementioned the single appliances approach takes into account that the total amount of the additive present in the device reaches the predicted environmental compartment when a TC is unknown. 

In addition to the use of (quantitative) structure-activity relationships and read-across (see Section 2.1.1), category approaches for grouping substances according to structural activities are being developed under RIP 3.3.

The scope of the series encompasses all things related to atoms, molecules, and clusters including both experimental and theoretical aspects. The major emphasis of the series is to analyze these aspects under two broad categories approaches and applications. Approaches includes different levels of quantum mechanical theory with various computational tools augmented by available interpretive methods, as well as state-of-the-art experimental techniques for unraveling the characteristics of these systems including ultrafast dynamics strategies.
