Casing string combination

The term combination casing string is generally applied to a casing string that is composed of more than one weight per foot, or more than one grade of steel, or both. [Pg.1157]

An example is offered on the following pages of the design procedure to be followed in designing a combination casing string. [Pg.1159]

High accuracy of the measurements is of utmost importance. There are 20 natural amino acids that, except for the Leu/Ile pair, have different molecular weights. However, the some of them or of some of their combinations have very similar molecular weights. The case of combinations of amino acids with similar molecular weights is especially important when the spectrum lacks a full string of ion peaks (Table 6.4). [Pg.190]

Normally, one requires that arbitrary messages can be authenticated, i.e., the message space M is the set of all strings over an alphabet, say 0, 1J" ". This is the case in the GMR definition. (In this sense, something like RSA is a signature scheme only in combination with the description of how arbitrarily long messages are mapped into blocks.)... [Pg.96]

Potential Pharmacophore Point pairs (or PPP pairs) are 3D string representations of molecules encoding the geometrical distance information between all possible combinations of two potential pharmacophore points [Brown and Martin, 1996]. PPP pairs are a particular case of —> geometric atom pairs where only pairs of potential pharmacophore points are considered, thus resulting very similar to —> geometric binding property pairs. [Pg.773]

The waves, and relative energies for = 1, 2, 3, 4 are shown in Fig. 1.5. Note than in addition to the nodes at the ends of the wave, the wave shapes themselves can generate nodes at various points on the wave in this case the number of these internal nodes is given by n— 1. The actual wave shape (vibration of a string) is not limited to only one of these fundamental mode vibrations, and it may be much more complex but all vibrations, however complex, can be represented by the addition or subtraction, that is, a superposition or linear combination, of different fundamental modes. By the reverse process, any complex waveform can be... [Pg.11]
